For those who are unfamiliar with this controversial, yet amusing anime, the plot summary is described below. Redo of Healer encloses a magical land where people have different kinds of magical abilities. The graphics, CG, and cinematography are of high quality, with game-like characters.
The protagonist is a healer-type magical user, Keyaru, who suffers hardships mental and physical torture. Healing magic is usually regarded as weak and users with this ability are termed as useless most of the time. However, Keyaru realizes that healing power is much more powerful and vital than it’s realized.
Keyaru uses his power to travel back in time and use his knowledge to get revenge on everyone who abused and bullied him. To get his slow and severe revenge, he goes back in time four years.
When was the Redo of the Healer Light Novel Launched?
In December 2016, the Redo of Healer author began the serialization of the novel on a community-driven novel website. The novel was first published in Shōsetsuka ni Narō, later Kadokawa Shoten picked it up and oversaw its polishing until now. Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko issued the novel user its wing in 2017.
In the same year, Sōken Haga began to create its manga adaptation as well. The manga was commenced in October 2017, under the supervision of Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace Up outlet. Although the anime is on hold, however, new volumes of the novel are being released periodically.
A popular YouTuber, “The Anime Man” engaged with the author of the anime about Redo of Healer Season 2 and he revealed that the fox will appear if there’s a season 2. There’s a lot of content in the novel that can be utilized for the next season. Likewise, the manga adaptation is still ongoing. If one loves the anime, they can read manga or novels online.
